Taking further steps toward a live band sound may not be playing their best hand though, as frequent pedestrian drumming plods along under a fog of shoegaze bleariness, alongside mediocre returns from a handful of vocalists. Surprisingly, it's the tracks that sound like spontaneous jams, such as Audition, that sound the freshest.
