Album Review: Moon Duo - Occult Architecture, Vol 1

Occult Architecture, Vol 1 represents something of a concept project for Moon Duo. 

It's the first instalment of a yin/yang two-parter slated for 2017, the second of which is due in the middle of the year. Released during the northern hemisphere's winter, Vol 1 is the yin: cutting, sinister, gloomy. It definitely feels like a journey into darkness; The Death Set, Cult Of Moloch and White Rose placing the listener on the shadier side of the Moon Duo cosmos. Bring on Vol 2.
