Cho lands jokes about Australian current affairs and stand-offish Australian girls with ease.
Margaret Cho is far from shy in tonight's show as she opens up about her preference for female genitalia to Australian politics. She's bold enough to declare who she wants the audience to vote for in the next general election, while comically prying individual punters about their sex lives. When a comedian speaks with such certainty (or, perhaps, recklessness), the audience listens. Most comedians roll out the same set for an entire year with little variation. Cho lands jokes about Australian current affairs and stand-offish Australian girls with ease. The audience is happily boisterous when required. The only surprise is a dance routine towards the end that feels a tad out of place.
