Lawrence Leung: Very Strange Things

Lawrence Leung channelled the spirit of his ABC series Unbelievable as he sought out the “mystery lovers” and “puzzle solvers” in his audience. With a series of mind tricks and experiments, including a pet séance, he managed to totally baffle whilst keeping the mood light with his well-placed soft humour.

More like a magic show than pure stand up Leung preached how it’s good to still have a little bit of mystery in life, with a testing option at the end to watch a reveal or look away. Coincidences or trickery, it has to rate as one of the most entertaining shows of the festival.
