"'You're In Love With A Psycho' is a scratch'n'win moment of pop genius."
Don't take Serge Pizzorno's alleged manifesto for Kasabian's sixth album - reclaiming the guitar and avoiding the complex electronics of 2014's 48:13 - too seriously.
That's because the axe is well served yet hardly revolutionary, and Good Fight is what Eez-eh would have sounded like if it was included on The Beatle's Sgt. Pepper's. Are You Looking For Action's wickedly Parliamentarian bassline and horns evoke a resounding 'Yes!', and You're In Love With A Psycho is a scratch'n'win moment of pop genius. It's more style than substance, but Kasabian have gotten away with it.
