Album Review: Jimmy Eat World - Integrity Blues

Integrity Blues starts out with a slow-burning build, as Jim Adkins' familiar vocals lament issues of personal change and relationships.

The album fades through beat-driven tracks like Pretty Grids, with lo-fi guitar riffs and fuzzy distortion complementing the driving drum lines. The End Is Beautiful is this album's Hear You Me, the slow and meaningful acoustic guitar the perfect backing to lyrics you'll be crying in your car to in no time. The return of a band such as Jimmy Eat World always stirs up images of emo nights at the skatepark and feels for days. Their latest effort is no exception.
