"You’re gonna like what these boys are cooking."
At a time when the metal genre is leaping forward stylistically, true metal upstarts Enforcer are keeping it grounded, sticking to the traditional/speed metal formula that’s steered them throughout their career.
Light on the innovation and heavy on the NWOBHM-worship, album number four is business as usual. The record most closely harks back to Tokyo Blade and Di’anno-era Iron Maiden. If it’s trendy riffs and new-school production you’re after, look away. If you have a hunger for thick bass, ‘70s metal beats and screeching vocals, you’re gonna like what these boys are cooking.
