Album Review: Ellie Goulding - Delirium

Save for Intro (Delirium), from start to finish Ellie Goulding has laid a golden egg of undeniably catchy chart-topping hits, seemingly for that sole purpose. 

From the annoying earworm whistle of Keep On Dancin', which will undoubtedly grace a dozen DJs' setlists, to the similarly repetitive On My Mind, most songs on this 16-track album are carefully constructed to weasel their way onto radios, TVs and brains. Regardless, she does explore genres like gospel and dancehall with Holding On For Life and We Can't Move To This.

The problem is, we don't really see any heart; it's a solid album, but not for the right reasons.
