"Let's be real: the brand of rock that Drowning Pool became famous for isn't 'cool' anymore."

Let's be real: the brand of rock that Drowning Pool became famous for isn't 'cool' anymore.

Over the years post-hardcore has taken over the mainstream while Godsmack and Five Finger Death Punch conquered groove metal's niche. Struggling to find a permanent vocalist after Dave Williams' tragic passing, Drowning Pool fell off the radar. With the most stable line-up of their career and a fistful of attitude, the band have delivered an album of uncompromising heaviness, from anthem By The Blood to the soulful Another Name. While a few tracks could have been culled, this is the band at their best.
