Album Review: Dorsal Fins - Digital Zodiac

Much like the aquatic appendage of the same name, Dorsal Fins' misunderstood danger sneaks up on you before revealing its warmth and playfulness.

Digital Zodiac is a nostalgic homage to scuzzy lo-fi and bad hair, it's the beautiful collection of sweat dripping down your mate's back in the mosh (in the nicest possible way). The high quality pop-rock production creates a whirlwind of tapping drumsticks and a surprising depth to the layers of sound on the record. When It All Comes Down To Love is a standout track, the band's growing maturity and taste for detail shining through.
