"But the show must go on, and Callan does a sterling job of it."
Dave Callan is a trooper, tonight sporting a new accessory — a walking stick he needs to use as a result of a 'ninjutsu' injury. Thus his show, which is almost wholly made up of his trademark dancing, takes on a slightly new twist.
But the show must go on, and Callan does a sterling job of it. He takes the audience on a riotous dancing trip through the decades, from the early years to the '80s right up to the present day. There are what seems like hundreds of props and costume changes and the music ranges from Kylie Minogue to Rage Against The Machine. His three attractive female dancers probably help to keep the show afloat, but it is cleverly constructed and keeps the crowd on their toes from start to end.
