"Perfect to take your grandma to."
Barry Morgan takes the audience on his Home Organ Party Experience for Melbourne Fringe.
Camp and kitsch, Morgan is an engaging performer, but unfortunately technical issues plague the performance, leaving the show feeling directionless. Beats-maker Callum, suitable dressed in brown corduroy, joins Morgan on stage. With a big smile, he looks like the nicest person you'll ever meet. Morgan gets the audience to dance to The Nutbush (it's difficult to kick to the side in the narrow aisles) and limbo, and he runs around taking selfies. Ultimately the show lacks substance, but it is safe and entertaining. Perfect to take your grandma to.
