Album Review: Baro - Just Problems You Need To Know

Refusing to let up, Baro is back at it again in 2017, this time serving up an EP.

If that seems like slim pickings, fear not - the spread of musical sounds is sumptuous. Baro takes a hard left with the garage-rock Pretty, but the real highlights are the electronic soul of Wdubi and the bar room jazz of You Are My Imagination Running Free.

Posse-cut Fuck The Judge is the only lapse in the tracklisting, not so much for its lyrical content as its awkward clash of musical styles. But there's seven other reasons why we can expect great things from the young Melburnian.
