Shedding any sense of vulnerability and insecurity present on Goddess, Banks took inspiration from her latest release The Altar and appeared at the Enmore powerful and unapologetic.
Shrouded in red light as she stormed the stage with two dancers, Poltergeist was the perfect opener. Following it up with Fuck With Myself cemented her newfound dominance and power, and the crowd sure as hell enjoyed confronting themselves as they spat "'Cause I fuck with myself more than anyone else" along with Jillian Banks. Gemini Feed made for a complete trio, setting the bar high for the rest of the show.
Expectedly, Banks followed through, encouraging us to savour every searing and biting word of Trainwreck with her, before taking it down a notch with Waiting Game.
Banks wanted us to take a moment to appreciate being here with her, asking us to put away our phones for Better - a song she says started as a few simple chords and a chant. However, by the time the drop hit (thanks to some remixing), we were all practically gagging to record her; most held out though.

A poem was read as Banks signalled to its words before introducing Mother Earth, her powerhouse vocals reminding us that she isn't just smoke, mirrors and dancers.
Harking back to where it all began, and showing us how far she's come, Drowning and Begging For Thread were left for the finale - both of which had everyone dropping their hips and singing along. Haunt took the set out with a guitar solo and a mic (and jaw) drop.
Inevitably screams for an encore were met. The subdued 27 Hours was chosen, a little anticlimactic, but in some ways the perfect choice. An analogy to remind us that we shouldn't be afraid to face our vulnerabilities head on, and that we can emerge victorious and powerful - just like Banks.
