Album Review: Band Of Horses - Acoustic At The Ryman

Brought in with the hum of a softly-embraced accordion, Marry Song is met with rapturous applause once the audience recognises the bright, plucked acoustic guitar and piano. This is the sort of thing that makes a live album special, and Acoustic At The Ryman is chock-full of moments like this. Slow Cruel Hands Of Time sees the band at their most vulnerable, both in their songwriting and their delivery. Fans of Infinite Arms will be elated to hear these re-workings of some of the band's favourites, the entire album front-to-back an absolute treat.
