"So perfectly polished he makes the job look like a piece of cake."
It's such a treat seeing a world-class comedian. Arj Barker is charming and comfortable up on stage, performing to a fully attentive crowd that do not stop giggling (okay, guffawing) from start to finish.
The show is loosely based around Barker's relationship with his girlfriend and their organic, gluten-free, healthy lifestyle, which, truthfully, is making Barker so unhappy that he feels he might be driven to murder. There are jokes about Game Of Thrones, Brisvegas, a very clever comparison between old-school circuses and the Melbourne Cup, and an adorable plug of his DVD and sticker pack. He has the audience in the palm of his hand, and his show is so perfectly polished he makes the job look like a piece of cake.
