"... The pair continue to travel simultaneously and seamlessly through the newly-released likes of 'Cellar Door' and 'Chateau'."
Performing to a sold-out crowd at the renowned Enmore Theatre is no easy feat for most artists.
Imagine doing it at the tender age of 14. Well, the Sydney-born support act Ruel did - effortlessly. With a soulful voice and stage confidence well beyond his young years, and only a handful of R&B-filtered pop tunes under his belt, the M-Phazes protege well and truly warmed up the audience.
Everyone's favourite bohemian siblings Angus & Julia Stone sauntered on stage shortly after with a band of musical (and very talented) merry men in tow. A towering bird-like totem coupled with cosmic, forest-based visual projections gives a campfire feel, as the duo start dealing their beloved blend of dreamy folk-pop, mostly from fourth and latest album Snow.
The Stones start off with hazy introspective number Baudelaire, on which Julia plays a trumpet one-handed. Angus speak-sings and strums his way through Make It Out Alive, and the pair continue to travel simultaneously and seamlessly through the newly released likes of Cellar Door and Chateau.

The Australian singer-songwriters have penned some truly beautiful love songs in their decade-long career, and tonight they swept us off our feet with everything from 2014's Wherever You Are to sultry new tune Nothing Else. Oh, and you guessed it: the breakout hit Big Jet Plane made an appearance too.
Their loyal following indulged in singalongs (even when Angus detoured briefly with Uptown Folks from his successful side project Dope Lemon), and lapped up every whimsical lyric and tale spoken by the Stones.
We could have mistaken it for the show-closer when snowflakes romantically fell from the ceiling for the call-and-response performance of latest single Snow, but Angus & Julia Stone returned once more for an irresistible encore of Neil Young's Harvest Moon (swoon!) and Soldier.
