Trevor Powers brings his new tunes to the clubs as well as the festivals.
Youth Lagoon comes back to Australia early next year – his first trip since the release of his second LP Wondrous Bughouse – to show us how he has developed as an artist since we last saw him 18 months prior to his return.
As well as appearances at the Laneway Festivals all around the country, Youth Lagoon – the project of young Idaho bloke Trevor Powers – has announced he'll play two sideshows while in the country, with Sydney and Melbourne audiences again the lucky ones who will get to witness him in action.
His first record The Year Of Hibernation was critically acclaimed upon its release and, if you haven't heard the new record, it sees Powers further expand his sonic palette as he takes bigger and bolder musical risks through its duration.
Here's the excellent single Dropla if you want a clearer idea of where he's at.
