Taylor Made: A Taylor Swift Tribute is an upcoming show hosted by your favourite Australian acts honouring one of the biggest pop stars in the world.
Kate Miller-Heidke, Alex The Astronaut, Clare Bowditch and Lisa Mitchell will join forces with Charley, Emily Wurramurra, Em Rusciano and Sophia J Smith for a night of unforgettable performances. The show will be presented by author Clementine Ford and presenter Story Baker.
The Taylor Swift Tribute is part of the expansive ALWAYS LIVE program, which dropped its line-up yesterday. The show arrives at the Northcote Theatre on Friday, 24 November. Tickets go on sale this Thursday (24 August) at 10 am via the Northcote Theatre website, with $1 from each ticket sale going to Support Act. You can get your tickets here.
“Missed out on Taylor Swift tickets? This’ll basically be the exact same thing,” Miller-Heidke teased in a social media post yesterday (22 August). “I’ve got my 16 outfit changes ready to go. Cannot wait to see them carry those 110 feet tall screens into the Northcote Theatre.”
The press release for the event adds, “This is one night not to be missed. It might not be ERAS, but it’s still a Love Story you’ll want to be a part of.”
ALWAYS LIVE Program Director Emily Ulman said in a statement, “We’re beyond excited to share the ALWAYS LIVE program with you today. ALWAYS LIVE is committed to delivering a program that reflects and represents the unrivalled vibrancy and dynamism of contemporary live music in Victoria.”

In a 2022 The Music interview, Alex The Astronaut said, “I feel like the hopefulness in that one is the solidarity,” about one of their latest tracks, Growing Up. “We have that connection. That's the hopefulness. The hard stuff is still all there. It's still real, and it's still going to keep happening. You can't stop that. But you do have that solidarity.”
