"'No Brakes' is pretty much how we have spent the last few years."
It’s a big week for Tassie outfit The Wolfe Brothers, who today reveal their latest single after signing a global deal with BMG.
Premiering today via The Music, No Brakes is, as described by Nick Wolfe, “all about going all in, full speed ahead.”
“It's an extremely exciting time for us, releasing new music with a new global team. We're strapped in and ready to ride where ever the journey takes us!” Nick said.
Written in Nashville with Lindsay Rimes during a songwriting trip, it was partly inspired by Will Ferrell and John C Reilly comedy Talladega Nights, as noted by brother Tom Wolfe.
“That’s where the line, ‘Yeah I've seen Daytona and them Talladega Nights,’ came from,” he said. "Honestly, after our last album, Country Heart, where it was so many stories from our life/family and farm, it was just so much fun to have a no rules approach to writing the next album.”
The track was also produced by Rimes.

“I honestly believe Lindsay should be in the Guinness World Records for being the fastest man to produce amazing tracks,” Nick said.
“It's an incredible thing to see how fast he makes a track come to life and sound like something that you could play on the radio then and there.
Overall, No Brakes is reflective of where they are at with their lives.
“I mean, No Brakes is pretty much how we have spent the last few years,” Tom told The Music.
“It’s been a full steam ahead experience of touring and travelling, and honestly we just love it! We are really happy…we are feeling more adventurous creatively than we have ever been and we think this new single really represents that. I think right now in the world we need some fun and positive music more than ever.”
