"I’m just gonna assume it’s shit..."
Fall Out Boy's new musical direction hasn't pleased all of their fans and you can add Corey Taylor to that list, who says that the group have turned into "something weird".
Though he is currently involved in a sledging match with Nickelback, the Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman commented on Fall Out Boy's April-released single, Young & Menace, which has been panned by many fans and critics; two years after he slammed the punk rock band for saying they will "save rock'n'roll".
"I haven't heard it, but I'm just gonna assume it's shit," Taylor said in an interview with The Music this month.
"The thing is that I feel they were a great punk band that turned into something weird… I can tell you that I'm really not a fan."

The 43-year-old singer insisted that his comments about Fall Out Boy are not personal, but purely about the music.
"It's not saying anything about the people in the band, because I am friends with some of the guys in that band," he said.
"It's the music. People fucking hate my music and I'm still friends with them. So, before anybody starts some fucking bullshit war, shove it straight up your arse."
Fall Out Boy have since released new single, Champion, while Stone Sour's new LP, Hyrdograd, is set for release this Friday.
