West Coast psych-rockers POND are the next WA band to announce what’s in store for 2025, with an 11-leg Australian tour coming to a regional town near you in February.

Posted to socials this morning, the tour follows another huge year for the band, having launched their 10th studio album Stung! In June and pursued tours across Australia, Europe, the UK, and North America all in the span of 6 months. Masters of the tour circuit, the band were quick to announce festival slots for the new year barely a fortnight after touching back down from the Northern Hemisphere, with Bambra’s Meadow Festival and Woolongong’s Yours And Owls already slated on the 2025 agenda.

Alongside these two festival sets and a Party In The Paddock stint in Launceston, the band will be taking their genre-bending live sets on the road in summer to regional areas Bunbury, Maroochydore, Margaret River, and Newcastle, among other spots.

The news of POND’s tour comes alongside the touching announcement of drummer James Ireland and San Cisco member Scarlett Stevens expecting their first child in 2025.

“Waiting for our little cannoli” Stevens captioned her announcement post to Instagram yesterday. The San Cisco drummer will also be on tour in the new year at South Perth Sounds Festival.
