Travis Scott made good on his teaser for Sydney fans for night two at Allianz Stadium yesterday (18 October), bringing out The Weeknd as a special guest for four songs.
Introduced to the audience eighteen songs into the concert, The Weeknd joined Travis Scott for CIRCUS MAXIMUS, Pray 4 Love, SKELETONS, and WAKE UP (per Setlist.fm), providing his silky smooth vocals for the rap favourites.
“Make some noise for the greatest of all time – The Weeknd,” Scott said ahead of the pair launching into WAKE UP. Scott’s excitement of having the Canadian singer-songwriter on stage was palpable. Aside from the teased surprise, which was already exciting, how could fans not take in Scott’s thrill last night?
For some fans who saw Travis Scott on Thursday night (17 October), watching videos from last night’s Sydney show evoked mixed emotions.
“I’m so pissed it didn’t happen night 1,” one fan commented on a post shared by Live Nation Australia on Instagram. Another added, “WE WERE FUCKING ROBBED,” while others mused on what they wished happened on Thursday. “Was meant to be night 1,” another comment reads.
