Vintage Trouble Unveil Sydney & Melbourne Aussie Show Dates

Los Angeles-bred rhythm-and-blues/soul-rock four-piece Vintage Trouble will complement their scheduled performance at next year's Byron Bay Bluesfest with a pair of standalone headline shows in Melbourne and Sydney at the end of March.

The retro-rockin'  band will have a few days between finishing up at Bluesfest and heading out on their own, with their first stop at the former's Corner Hotel on Wednesday 30 March, heading up to the latter's Factory Theatre on Thursday 31 March.

Considering the five-year-old outfit gained the attention of veteran rockers AC/DC — and consequently filled a support slot on their massive Rock Or Bust tour — this year, it may come as little surprise to hear that the band has been turning heads pretty much since their inception, with both Music Weekly and HMV singling them out as breakthrough stars back in 2011. Their debut full-length, The Bomb Shelter Sessions, charted like a beast (#1 UK R&B charts, #2 UK rock charts, #13 iTunes), with recent follow-up 1 Hopeful Rd eclipsing even those results, even seeing album single Strike Your Light hit #1 in Japan.

Tickets for Vintage Trouble's 2016 Bluesfest sideshows will be available from 9am (AEDT) this Thursday, 29 October, via Bluesfest Touring.
