The hip hop hero will play three capital-city headline shows in March
Seasoned rhyme-smith Freddie Gibbs will embark on a three-date headline tour of Australia early next year — ahead of his scheduled performance at Meredith's Golden Plains Festival — in support of newly released full-length Shadow Of A Doubt, it has been announced.
The Aussie sojourn comes hot on the heels of freshly unveiled lead single Fuckin' Up The Count, and will get under way over on the west coast, at Perth's Jack Rabbit Slim's, on Thursday 10 March, hitting the east the following evening, 11 March, with a show at the Manning Bar, Sydney, and rounding out with a final appearance at Melbourne's Max Watt's on Saturday 12 March. Gibbs will then go on to appear at Golden Plains on Sunday 13 March.
It's not been that long since local fans were treated to a Gibbs gig, with the rapper having staged a sold-out run of shows in the country earlier this year. If you weren't able to get out to one of those shows — and even if you were — you'll be wanting to get along this time around without letting the opportunity pass you by.
Tickets for Freddie Gibbs' 2016 headline Aussie shows are on sale now via Handsome Tours.
