The veteran band make their return Down Under for a five-show sojourn
Veteran English alt-rock/Britpop outfit Ocean Colour Scene will return to Australia for a five-date tour this November, in-between an outing in Dubai and two shows in New Zealand.
The long-serving band made their maiden journey Down Under in early 2016 after more than 25 years of performance, and it looks like they sufficiently enjoyed themselves to turn around and head back our way at the end of this year, getting under way at Sydney's Metro Theatre on Saturday 11 November.
The impending tour also includes dates in Brisbane, Adelaide, Fremantle and Melbourne, where they'll play the last Aussie show of the run at 170 Russell on Friday 17 November.
The band have not released a new album since their last visit, the most recent of their 11-album-deep catalogue still being 2013's Painting, but being that this tour is an extension of their 20-year celebrations for 1996 sophomore LP Moseley Shoals alongside several of their greatest hits — not to mention the swiftly approaching 20th anniversary of follow-up effort Marchin' Already, which ticks over in September — long-time fans of the band probably don't mind keeping things nicely nostalgic.
