Tyne-James Organ has taken to social media to share a life update with fans, opening up about the importance of mental health and revealing his recent diagnosis with bipolar disorder.
Taking to social media this week and breaking an almost six-month silence, Organ noted that he wanted to “be real with” fans, revealing he had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder earlier in the year.
“It's been a challenging journey, and l've needed to take this time away to focus on my mental health and well-being,” he explained.
“As a result, I had to put my second album and everything music related on hold. It wasn't an easy decision, but it was necessary for me to heal and find balance in my life again,” he added. “I'm still navigating this process, but I'm hopeful and working towards getting back to the things I love when the time is right.”
Ending by thanking his partner, family, friends, team, and fans for their support, Organ added that he would be talking in greater length about the topic down the line.

Organ’s recent social media post also comes following his recent involvement in a partnership with both Movember and Pedestrian, where he shared the experience of his diagnosis, the stigma of mental health in male-dominated spaces, and the importance of support for those who may be struggling.
“There was also a sense of clarity because I finally understood myself in just a little bit more of a different light,” Organ said of his diagnosis. “It's changed things in a lot of ways that now l know my path that I want to take and how I want to continue taking the next steps."
Organ shared his debut album, Necessary Evil, back in May 2021, with the record peaking at #51 on the ARIA chart. A handful of new songs have arrived since the long-awaited album, including 2023's Blue, and All On Me, which was released back in March.
