Grammy Award-winning American duo Twenty One Pilots have announced global listening parties in advance of the release of their highly anticipated seventh album, Clancy.
Twenty One Pilots have teamed up with over 200 independent record stores and other venues so fans can hear the new album early. The listening parties will be held from 18 to 23 May, the days before the album’s release.
Today, Warner Music Australia has informed local fans that they won’t miss out on the Clancy listening parties—unless they don’t live on the East Coast of Australia.
On Thursday, 23 May, Co-Co Bananas in Footscray, Sydney’s Utopia Records and Brisbane’s Rocking Horse Records will play Clancy in its entirety from 5 pm AEST. Fans who attend the events will also receive a limited edition Twenty One Pilots tote bag while stocks last. You can find more information about the album listening parties here.
Twenty One Pilots have shared three singles from their forthcoming album—Next Semester, Overcompensate, and the most recent track, Backslide, which was released two weeks ago. You can pre-order/pre-save Clancy ahead of its release here.
Twenty One Pilots will tour Australia later this year after sharing teasers last month. The tour starts in Melbourne (Naarm) on Tuesday, 19 November, at Rod Laver Arena. They’ll head to Brisbane (Meanjin) next, playing the Entertainment Centre on Thursday, 21 November, before wrapping up at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney (Eora) on Sunday, 24 November.

Clancy will be released on Friday, 24 May, via Fueled By Ramen. It will serve as the final chapter in a series of concept albums that began with 2015’s Blurryface and continued with 2018’s Trench (where the titular character was introduced) and Scaled And Icy.
