And it looks EPIC.
Aussie rockers Totally Unicorn are “helping their music mates” out with a creative and fresh take on streaming gigs.
The Sydney outfit have announced Totally Unicorn: Live From The Magical Mind Of Bunkwaa, an animated live show that will premiere this Friday and raise funds for those close to them doing it tough amid the COVID pandemic.
“Many of our friends in the music industry have been hit hard by the global pandemic. People whose livelihood depends on live music. Roadcrew, sound engineers, artists – all of them have had their careers and income put on hold. Tough times indeed,” Totally Unicorn said.
“In an attempt to help out a few of these mates, we have put together Totally Unicorn: Live From The Magical Mind Of Bunkwaa. Animated by Craig Bunkwaa and engineered by Chad Halford, we hope to raise some cash for their efforts in putting together this video.
“All monies donated will go directly to them for all their hard work in putting this project together. If our goal is reached, we will cover the costs associated with making the video, and send on the remaining funds to other mates who are also struggling and who we consider an integral part of the Totally Unicorn family.”
Live From The Magical Mind Of Bunkwaa will premiere via YouTube this Friday, August 14, at 8pm AEST.
