Zimbabwean-Australian sensation Tkay Maidza has announced that her Sweet Justice Record Release Tour shows will be cancelled “for the rest of the year”.
Taking to Instagram to reveal the news, the You Sad singer said: “Sorry yes all solo shows have been cancelled for the rest of the year, I had to scale back and be realistic ab [sic] what I can physically and mentally do at my best. I love you guys & I will see you soon.”
The tour, presented by MG Live and Frontier Touring, was set to showcase two exclusive headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne this November, along with her appearances at the Spilt Milk festival.
Frontier Touring also confirmed the sad news on their social media, adding that “all tickets will be refunded to the point of sale.”

It comes following the announcement of the tour dates back in October, where Tkay said: “Excited to come back and play headline shows after all the supports and festivals this year - it’s always so special playing & it feels like a celebration.”
Tkay Maidza's Melbourne show was set to be held at The Forum on Thursday, November 23, followed by a performance at the UNSW Roundhouse in Sydney on Tuesday, November 28.
The organisers of Spilt Milk have been reached out to for a statement regarding whether Tkay will proceed with her performances. However, her cancelling her “solo shows” seems to suggest she intends to continue with her scheduled appearances at the festival.
Tkay's highly-anticipated album, Sweet Justice, dropped on November 3. The album features bangers such as Ring-a-Ling, Silent Assassin with Flume, and Out Of Luck featuring Lolo Zouai and Amber Mark.
Tkay recently made her debut in triple j’s Like A Version studio, covering SZA’s ‘Kill Bill’ and performing ‘Ring-a-Ling'.
