“We all need to switch off, even if it’s just for an hour.”
Timmy Trumpet put on one hell of a live-streamed show across the weekend, with more than 1.4 million viewers tuning in.
With Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge in the background, the Aussie DJ’s Sunday evening performance saw fans from over 60 countries watch, and for good reason.
The one-hour event saw him trade giant C02 and confetti cannons for deodorant cans, nerf guns and party poppers and included special guest appearances from numerous stuffed animals, making it the ultimate self-isolation party.
“I’ve had thousands of fans message me asking for answers about the future of our industry,” Timmy Trumpet said.
“The least I can do is give everyone a performance with the same energy I take to a festival stage. We all need to switch off, even if it’s just for an hour.”
