As part of the event's family-friendly 'Little Fairgrounds' program.
Fairgrounds Festival is bearing down upon us swiftly, and organisers have today announced even more entertainment to please punters of all ages with its Little Fairgrounds program and culinary offerings.
For the family-minded among you, Fairgrounds Storytime is set to return for its third go-around, with special guests Tim Rogers and Holly Throsby — as well as children's author Kat Patrick — lined up to read some stories for the kids, while father-son duo Battlebird (and their robot DJ/hype man, Scooter) will be hitting the stage to provide some age-appropriate musical entertainment.
If that sparks a fire within them, they can head across to the High Voltage Rock School, where from 12-8pm each day they can unleash their inner mini-rock god before kicking back at the Circus Playground for some physical recreation.
For the particularly arty and/or brainy, there will be the South Coast Kids Art Workshop, providing all manner of crafting activities, and Science ShowOffs, hosted by Dr Graham Walker, to massage that grey matter and bring a dose of edutainment to proceedings.

There is also a child-minding service for parents with kids aged from 1 to 6, with booking of up to 90 minutes available so you can go experience a bit of the wider festival without worrying about the little ones.
No doubt you'll be hungry among all the activities, and Fairgrounds has you covered on that front too, with the newly revealed menu featuring wares from Paperbark Camp, Spice I Am, The Australian Prestige Oyster & Prawn Company, Flour Water Salt and more.
And that's all without even mentioning the tastefully curated musical line-up, which features the likes of Gang Of Youths, Future Islands, Noname, Japanese Breakfast, The Teskey Brothers, The Shins, Client Liaison, You Am I, D.D Dumbo, Marlon Williams, Jen Cloher, Jess Locke, Aldous Harding and more.
It all goes down at Berry Showgrounds on Friday 8 and Saturday 9 December. Tickets are on sale now via Moshtix.
