Metal legend Tim Owens will rip the stage for his first solo tour of Australia and New Zealand this May. Known to fans as the “Ripper”, the former frontman of the influential Judas Priest is widely considered one of the pioneers of heavy metal and its move into mainstream music. Since his career began in the early nineties, Owens has also fronted the bands Iced Earth, Yngwie Malmsteen, Dio Disciples and Beyond Fear. He will perform tracks from these bands, as well as songs from his 2009 solo album Play My Game.
