Tim Minchin's iconic Airport Piano was auctioned off, which features lyrics written by Minchin himself handwritten onto the piece.
Airport Piano was released in September of last year and featured on his album Apart Together. The comedian and musician has described the track as "almost definitely the funkiest tribute to midlife crises and the emptiness of acquisition ever recorded in the antipodes,"
"It walks the line between extremely cool and extremely uncool with barely a teeter."
After a call out for an old Piano he could sand down and write the lyrics on, Yamaha sent him a brand new one and the rest is history. The song has become a fan favourite in his illustrious discography.
