The stalwart Aussie outfit are all aboard for the Swedish juggernauts' run in March next year
Aussie extreme-metal luminaries Thy Art Is Murder have joined the impending visit from Swedish heavyweights Meshuggah set to shake local shores in 2017.
With the juggernaut outfit set to drop in Down Under in April, on the back of recent eighth studio album The Violent Sleep Of Reason, Thy Art will step in for all tour dates in the country except Perth. At the same time, tour promoters have added a second show at Melbourne's 170 Russell given the swift uptake on passes for the originally announced show.
Thy Art Is Murder have had an action-packed 2016, having melted American faces on an extensive US sojourn with touring frontman Lochlan Watt, who remained behind the mic once the band returned to Australia in the wake of their nearly-40-date international tour; it's not been announced whether he will return the role in the new year.
Thy Art Is Murder released their third studio album, Holy War, to broad acclaim last year.
