"The idea being to drag death (metal {lol}) around the world to places we've never been before."
Metalcore act Thy Art Is Murder have slayed moshes all over the world now, so it's finally time to bring their latest, Holy War, back home for a run.
Debuting at #7 on the ARIA Charts — an amazing feat for a heavy act — Thy Art will showcase the best of Holy War at 11 dates this July and August, bringing along their metal brethren Graves and I, Valiance for the ride.
Coined the Coffin Dragger tour, the band's Andy Marsh explains, "The idea being to drag death (metal {lol}) around the world to places we've never been before. The US leg saw us go to many states we'd never seen before, Europe we are going as Far East as Transylvania and now the Australian leg will see us play a whole bunch of regional towns, some we've never done, and others we've neglected for quite some time."
The tour will kick off in Maroochydore on 22 July and stop at the Gold Coast, Coffs Harbour, Newcastle, Wollongong, Wodonga, Ballarat, Warrnambool, Geelong, Frankston and Footscray until 7 August.
