The veteran duo bring their new album 'Suadade' to life on a handful of shows in February
Thievery Corporation are gearing up to take Australia over on tour in promotion of their most recent album, Suadade, which sees the band take on a new direction.
For over 20 years, the duo of Eric Hilton and Rob Garza has been re-crafting electronic music with a blend of Afro-beat, Indian, Jamaican dub, Brazilian and New York tones with trip-hop and azid jazz influences. Their latest bossa nova-inspired studio album points the pair towards a more summery-vibe with some more of a fiery exchange of energy spilled over from their last two albums. Suadade highlights again why Thievery Corporation holds such a weight of influence and respect among the dance and electronic music scene.
This latest tour sees Thievery Corporation return four years after their last tour Down Under with a run of Australian dates that will host a full live band accompaniment, pulling from their catalogue of two decades' worth of energetic, hypnotic and ethereal musical production.
Dates across Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne start in February; for more venue, date or booking information, see theGuide or check The Music App.
