The venerated garage-rockers will hit stages Down Under in January
Lauded garage-rock outfit Thee Oh Sees haven't been to Australia since 2013 so, along with announcing the band's intention to tour the country once more this coming January, fans will also be treated to a special local release — on limited-edition deluxe vinyl — of their most recent studio album, Mutilator Defeated At Last.
Thee Oh Sees will commence their impending Aussie assault at Brisbane's Crow Bar on Friday 8 January, moving on to perform shows at the Gold Coast (9 January), Byron Bay (10 January), Newcastle (13 January), Sydney (15 January), Wollongong (16 January), Geelong (19 January), Melbourne (22 January) and Fremantle, where they round up the trip at Mojo's Bar on Saturday 23 January.
The band's local fans won't have to wait till the new year for all the glory, though, with the deluxe vinyl release of Mutilator Defeated At Last — the band's ninth LP under their current moniker, and 15th overall — coming in time for Christmas; it's out on Friday 20 November via Flightless/Remote Control Records. If there's someone in your life who'd love to find one under the tree this December, pre-orders are available now.
Tickets for Thee Oh Sees 2016 Australian tour are available via Oztix (Gold Coast/Geelong), Moshtix (Byron Bay/Melbourne) and assorted associated outlets (Brisbane/Newcastle/Sydney/Wollongong/Fremantle).
