International music superstar The Weeknd shocked fans on Monday when he finally announced his long-awaited return to Australia in October of this year – that’s right, fans only have to wait two months for the singer’s tour.
Playing two back-to-back shows at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium (Saturday, 5 and Sunday, 6 October) and another two shows at Sydney’s Accor Stadium (Tuesday, 22 and Wednesday, 23 October), the tour marks The Weeknd’s first Australian dates since 2017 and his first-ever stadium appearances.
Of course, knowing that he’s performing in arenas, ticket prices were always going to be expensive for his After Hours Til Dawn tour. However, what’s a bit surprising is that tickets are cheaper than some punters thought, having paid hundreds of dollars to see artists, including Travis Scott, in recent months.
Yesterday, the past purchaser pre-sale tickets became available, and with it, some fans and concert promoters, including Whatslively, have started sharing ticket prices. Here’s what we’ve rounded up so far:
D Reserve Seating: $108
C Reserve Seating: $159.05
C Reserve Aisle: $180.05
B Reserve Seating: $210.80
B Reserve Aisle: $231.20
General Admission: $270.65
A Reserve Seating: $291.05
A Reserve Aisle Seating: $312.80

In a statement, The Weeknd said of the upcoming tour: “I feel a strong pull to perform in Australia before moving on to the next chapter and want to make sure you all know I hadn't forgotten about you. When I return now, it will be the right time, and I promise it will be such a special experience. I can’t wait to see you all!”
