The Waifs Announce 'Up All Night' 20th Anniversary Australian Tour

Beloved Albany folk-rock outfit The Waifs are going on an extensive tour from June until September in celebration of their 2003 debut album, Up All Night, which features the group’s breakthrough hit, London Still.

Missy Higgins will appear in Melbourne and special guests Josh Pyke, Mick Thomas, Jeff Lang, Jordie Lane, Liz Stringer, and Felicity Urquhart, are playing at other shows on the tour, with more to be announced.

The Up All Night 20th-anniversary tour begins in Victoria on Thursday, 1 June, in the coastal town of Queenscliff. From there, The Waifs and friends head to Ballarat, Melbourne, Shepparton, Meeniyan, Traralgon, Upwey, and Bendigo, finishing off their Victorian dates in Warrnambool.

The Waifs continue the massive tour at the Big Red Bash in Simpson Desert, QLD, Rockhampton, Townsville, and Cairns before making a stop in the ACT in Canberra.

It’s NSW’s turn next, and The Waifs will hit Newcastle, Sydney, and Wollongong, before a few more dates in Queensland - Caloundra, Brisbane, Toowoomba, and Miami. The band head to Hobart after those dates, and then Adelaide, Tamworth, Wyong, Bathurst, Alice Springs, and Broken Hill.

The final dates comprise shows in Perth, Mandurah, Kalgoorlie, and Esperance, a hometown show in Albany, Margaret River, Bunbury, Geraldton, Darwin and Broome.

It’s one of the biggest tours Australia has seen in many years - no one has to miss out on catching Up All Night songs live and celebrating the 20th anniversary of an all-time great album.

The pre-sale begins tomorrow, Thursday, 20 April, at 10 am local time. General sale tickets go on sale on Friday, 21 April, via the band’s website.
