Never wanna hear you say goodbye…
The Veronicas' Lisa and Jessica Origliasso have today confirmed separate solo projects.
The announcement from the sisters arrives after the band’s Instagram was wiped across the weekend.
The only thing remaining is the caption: “Love knows not its own depth, until the hour of separation.”
And the only accounts The Veronicas’ Instagram follows is now that of the sisters, who are using their profiles to tease new music that will arrive this week.
With both singers expected to drop new music on Wednesday, Lisa confirmed she was “going solo” while sharing a short clip of an upcoming music video in which she sings, “I won’t be wasting my time.”

Jess, who shared a teaser of her own music video captioned with “ARE YOU ON MY TEAM”, commented below Lisa’s post.
“Catch me front row in my Lisa Veronica boot leg merch!! BRB cutting up @poolsideplayboy most expensive towels,” she said.
Below Jess’ teaser video, Lisa shared: “JE$$IE333 my arch neme$i$ ..yet my greatest inspiration… this is the ultimate $howdown.”
Despite sending fans into a frenzy, the duo do have a number of major festival appearances coming up as The Veronicas, performing at Grapevine Gathering next month and That Weekend Festival in January.
The Veronicas dropped two albums last year, Godzilla and Human, the latter of which The Music described as "a near-perfect pop album".
Reviewer Keira Leonard noted: "The Veronicas provide a far more intimate perspective into their world with Human than they did with Godzilla and it is a welcome change for lovers of broody, emotive pop.
"The pair's last album, released only a month prior, was super-charged electro-pop that lacked a special something. Human, like Godzilla, is a world of fun; but what is particularly special about this album is that it is also incredibly raw – and that is when the pair absolutely thrive."
