The Brit punk veterans will play five shows in April
Celebrating a 40-year career, UK hellraisers The Stranglers will play their first Australian gigs since 2012 when they return Down Under later this year.
The band will be mining their extensive back catalogue spanning the entire lifetime of the band, all the way from the band's debut album, 1977's Rattus Norvegicus, to their most recent LP, Giants (2012) when they kick off their 2016 Australian tour on Sunday 17 April at Sydney's Metro Theatre, before heading north to Brisbane for a Show at The Tivoli on Monday 18 April. The group round off their east-coast shows with a performance at The Corner Hotel in Melbourne on Wednesday 20 April.
Two days later, on Friday 22 April, the punk veterans play a show in Adelaide at the Thebarton Theatre, before heading onto the final stop on their Aussie tour, at the Metropolis, in Fremantle, on Saturday 23 April.
