The Arizona outfit will be joined by US pop-punk wunderkinds Waterparks.
Arizona rockers The Maine have announced their maiden headline tour of Australia for January and February next year, lining up five dates around the country with their countrymates in Waterparks.
The band's headline debut includes both the oft-missed hubs of Perth and Adelaide (licensed all-ages) before heading on to Melbourne and two more licensed AA shows in Sydney and Brisbane.
Although the tour is ostensibly in support of the band's latest album, Lovely Little Lonely, being their first headline jaunt after a decade together as a band means it's more than likely that fans will get treated to some older favourites among the mix of tunes being touted on the run.
Meanwhile, genre-crossing pop-punk up-and-comers Waterparks have also made a significant impact despite their relative youth (five-and-a-bit years) as a band, having released their debut studio full-length, Double Dare, to broad acclaim in November last year.

Suffice to say, they're sure to walk away with a solid boost to their international fan base when they touch down to join The Maine for their upcoming string of shows on Aussie shores.
Tickets for all shows go on sale this Wednesday, 6 September, at 9am via Destroy All Lines.
