The list gets bigger.
A string of new speakers and artists have today been added to inaugural songwriting event, The Melbourne Sessions, headlined by The Living End frontman, Chris Cheney.
Joining the revered Aussie songwriter at the event, taking place on 6 July at Yarraville's Kindred Studio, includes electro producer/multi-instrumentalist Beatrice Lewis (Kardajala Kirridarra, Haiku Hands), Laura Jean, screen composer Byrony Marks (Please Like Me, Barracuda), composer and sound artist Miriama Young, Tracy McNeil and Luke Sinclair.
"Producers and songwriters need to break out of their studio vortex from time to time to collaborate with others, generate new ideas and get thoughtful feedback, I'm excited to be leading a workshop at The Melbourne Sessions where we can do just that," Lewis said.
"As well as exploring lots of different aspects of writing songs."
