The Last Dinner Party have announced their first-ever trip to Australia, plotting a three-date headline tour for this July.
The fast-rising UK band were initially booked to perform at this year’s Splendour In The Grass festival, before that was cancelled just weeks after being announced. Instead, they’ll kick a short tour of their own off at the Fortitude Music Hall in Brisbane (Meanjin) on Saturday July 20, co-headlining with American indie-pop band TV Girl.
From there, The Last Dinner Party will perform at The Forum in Melbourne on Monday July 22, and the Enmore Theatre in Sydney the following night (July 23). Support for both of these shows will come courtesy of Australia’s own incredible Tia Gostelow.
Tickets for all three shows go on sale at 9am local time this Friday (April 19), following a presale that kicks off at the same time tomorrow (April 18) – head here for all the info on both sales.
The tour comes in support of The Last Dinner Party’s debut album, Prelude To Ecstasy, which arrived back in February to widespread critical acclaim.
