After the band went on hiatus last year
With word last year that the metalcore kings would be going on "extended hiatus", New Jersey's The Dillinger Escape Plan have made plans to bring their swansong to one last Australian tour this October.
With their sixth and final album, Disassociation, in hand — a chance for the band to "pull a Seinfeld and go out while we're still on top" — after two decades in the business the five-piece will be bringing their catalogue to five shows around Australia.
Expect an emotional farewell from the band who stated last year, "I think whenever we're on stage, there's not another band in the world playing at that time that even comes close to us, and that's our goal."
The band will be hitting up Perth first on 15 October, before moving onwards to Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. The shows are all 18+.
