We've come a long, long way together.
Stalwart Melbourne live music venue the Corner Hotel has been a vital part of the city's cultural fabric for 21 years, and to mark the occasion will be holding a series of birthday gigs featuring some truly special names.
Getting the festivities started in early November, the Corner will welcome the return of beloved blues/rock trio The Vasco Era. Following that big start, venerated punk vets Cosmic Psychos will stop by for a matinee show and Kylie Auldist & Public Opinion Afro Orchestra will bring a touch of elegance to proceedings.
Another matinee will come from celebrated singer-songwriters Clare Bowditch and Adalita, while the always-electrifying Horrorshow will bring power of a different stripe with a stripped-back acoustic set.
Rounding things out with a final bash in early December, the legendary Archie Roach will help put the icing on the month-long cake that is the Corner's birthday plans.
