Throughout January and February 2024, The Amity Affliction will hit regional locations nationwide for the first time in four years. They’ve also curated an impressive line-up of local talent, taking Alpha Wolf, Terminal Sleep and RUN on the road for all shows.
Kicking off the tour in Tamworth, The Amity Affliction and friends will then hit Coffs Harbour, the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast, Canberra, Wollongong, Newcastle, Penrith, Albury, Frankston, Geelong, Hobart, Adelaide, Airlie Beach, Townsville and finish up in sunny Cairns. You can find all the dates and venues below.
Tickets to the band’s upcoming regional Australian tour go on sale on Thursday, 2 November, at 9 am local time via The Amity Affliction’s website. There’s also a pre-sale, with the Spotify pre-sale beginning on Wednesday, 1 November, at 12:01 am local time.
The forthcoming tour is in support of The Amity Affliction’s recently released album, Not Without My Ghosts, which landed at #2 on the ARIA Albums Chart back in May and has been nominated for Best Hard Rock / Heavy Metal Album at the 2023 ARIA Awards on 15 November.
Not Without My Ghosts is The Amity Affliction’s “heaviest” album to date, per bassist and vocalist Ahren Stringer. Ahead of the album’s release, he told us the album was “a fresh exploration of heavy music”.
“It's kind of like a collection of everything we can do,” Stringer said. “You know, it's got a super soft song, super heavy song and everything in between; it's just a solid Amity album and a bit more back to our roots - a bit heavier.

“We made the album that we would want to listen to. I think that's what we always try to do. So, we'd never put up a song that we wouldn't listen to on an album ourselves. I think that definitely encapsulates it all. It's got a bit of everything and probably some of our best work.”
