More Testament More Testament

Bay Area thrash metal legends Testament will return to Australia in June 2025 for their first tour down under in fifteen years.

Having delivered some of the most enduring metal classics to this day, such as Over The Wall, Practice What You Preach, Into The Pit, Brotherhood Of The Snake, and many more, Testament have remained in demand by Australian audiences for decades – and it’s little wonder why.

The tour begins at The Tivoli in Brisbane on Wednesday, 18 June, before heading to the Metro Theatre in Sydney on Friday, 20 June, Melbourne’s Northcote Theatre on Saturday, 21 June, Adelaide’s The Gov on Sunday, 22 June, and wrapping up at Metropolis Fremantle on Tuesday, 24 June.

Fans can access pre-sale tickets from Thursday, 31 October, at 9 am local time before the general sale opens on Tuesday, 5 November, at 9 am local time. Tickets will be available via Metropolis Touring and The Phoenix.

Next June, fans will witness Testament – with the current iteration of the band starring original member Eric Peterson (rhythm guitar), longtime vocalist Chuck Billy, lead guitarist Alex Skolnick, bassist Steve Di Giorgio, and drummer Chris Dovas – in all their glory. The band’s most recent album, Titans Of Creation, was released in 2020.

The band began working on a new album in June 2023, with Peterson describing the direction of the music as a combination of thrash, New Wave of British Heavy Metal, “thrash, black [and] heavy hard rock blues”. Earlier this year, they remastered their iconic albums, The Legacy and The New Order.
