“What an incredible feeling to bust outta the COVID gates with this mega line-up!"
Yarra Valley festival staple Sunset Sounds has revealed their all-Aussie lineup of of legendary bands and artists set to take to the stage for a triumphant 2022 return.
Presented by Empire Touring, the annual event will head back to regional Victoria on 26 February, to grace the stage at Rochford Winery.
Acts set to take part include Daryl Braithwaite, Ian Moss, Kate Ceberano, Russell Morris, The Black Sorrows, Richard Clapton, Ross Wilson, Thirsty Merc, Chocolate Starfish, Jack Jones, The Chantoozies, and a special performance by iconic ABBA tribute act, Bjorn Again.
“Since establishing Sunset Sounds three years ago and selling out multiple shows in QLD and NSW, we are beyond excited to blow those COVID blues away," Empire's Marc Christowski explained.
"Bringing a celebration of non-stop hits with a who’s who of classic Aussie rock (with a touch of ABBA) to the iconic Yarra Valley.”
“It is so thrilling to once again - after what seems like an eternity - share a stage at the Rochford Wines Sunset Sounds concert with Ian Moss, Kate Ceberano, The Black Sorrows, Russell Morris, Thirsty Merc and more …. It is going to be so good,” Braithwaite said of the event.
